Police discovers ISIS hideout, seizes 20 mortar shells

Iraqi security forces unveiled ISIS hideouts on Friday, and seized 20 mortar shells and 27 explosive devices in Kirkuk, according to the Security Media Center.


In a statement, the Security Media Center said that the federal police forces in Kirkuk province managed to find twenty 82-mm improvised mortar shells, after combing Malah Abdullah town.

Security forces also managed to remove 27 improvised explosive devices that ISIS left in Kodila and Mahana villages, the statement read.

The forces also inspected the village of Albu Najm, and found a hideout of terrorists between the village of Najm and Tal al-Basal, the statement said, adding that forces destroyed the hideout and combed the whole area.
