Dozens of trade employees protest in Wasit over financial rights

Dozens of the Trade Ministry's employees have protested Sunday in the province of Wasit, against the delay in the disbursement of their financial rights.

The protests also called for fixing the contracts of those who have been working for 14 years. They threatened to continue  aasit-up until the fulfillment of their demands.

Protests have erupted also in the oil-rich Iraqi city of Basra since July 3, over a number of reasons including high unemployment rates in the country. A number of protesters were killed during clashes with security forces.
