Iraq's General Directorate of
Traffic announced the approval of Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi on a
number of proposals to ease the traffic jam.
Traffic Directorate Brigadier Haider Al-Qassab said in a statement that the prime minister approved several proposals to ease the traffic jam, explaining that among these proposals is to change the times of the beginning of the official working hours.
Qassab said that the second proposal is to make the official working hours of universities, colleges and institutes located in one place to start at different times in order to ease the traffic jam in the roads and the entry of students to universities, colleges and institutes.
He also affirmed continuing opening the main closed roads, including the road linking Damascus Square with the 14th of July Square and Ammar ibn Yasser Square.
