Movement's Secretary-General Ahmad al-Hariri said on Saturday that
claims by Naim Qassem, Hezbollah's deputy secretary-general,
that Lebanese Prime Minister-designate Saad al-Hariri is
responsible for delaying
the anticipated government formation are “untrue.”
“On the contrary, during Hariri’s latest press conference, he revealed details and information about the communications and efforts exerted regarding the preparation of the upcoming government lineup,” Hariri said.
He further added that no one can deny the efforts exerted by Hariri during the last six months, as the Lebanese government was announced ready to declare the new lineup two weeks ago.
Hariri pointed out that only Hezbollah’s candidates are remaining, therefore, the party is completely responsible for the delay.
