The Joint Arab Committee, composed
of experts and representatives of the Arab ministries of justice and interior,
recommended approving a draft law on combating terrorism.
This came as part of the recommendations issued Thursday at the conclusion of the work of the committee held at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Arab League over the past two days.
The draft law contains 22 articles dealing with the definitions of terrorism, crime and terrorist group, as well as a number of penalties for anyone who establishes, organizes, directs or leads any terrorist group.
