Bahrain and Egypt agreed
Sunday on the necessity to combat foreign and regional interference in the Arab
countries affairs, Egyptian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
This came during a meeting between Bahrain's King Hamad bin Eisa, and the Egyptian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sameh Shoukry in Manama.
The two officials stressed their adherence to the 13 demands and the six principles of the four countries boycotting Qatar as a basis to solve the crisis with the Arab peninsula. They also affirmed that all attempts to circumvent the demands will only prolong the crisis.
The two officials also agreed on the importance of enhancing joint mechanism between the two states with the aim of uniting Arabs to face challenges.
During the meeting, the Egyptian FM expressed appreciation for the special relations between the two countries, and for the wise Bahraini policies and stances, the statement read.
