injured in the wake of explosions in the capital Baghdad, security sources
An explosive device, placed in the wheel of a vehicle, detonated, while passing through the area of Habibiya of Sadr City, east of Baghdad, wounding four people, the source revealed.
Moreover, two civilians were killed and four others were wounded following the detonation of an explosive device that was placed on the side of a road in Aden Square in Kadhimiya north of Baghdad, the sources said.
On Sunday morning, an explosive device detonated near shops in Turath district southwest Baghdad, wounding three civilians.
Baghdad has witnessed over time bombings, explosive devices and belts, in addition to sporadic attacks targeting civilians and elements of the security services, resulting in dozens of casualties.
