Denmark's recall of its ambassador in Tehran uncovers Khamenei's terror cells and his intelligence units in Europe, Observers say.

The recall of Denmark's ambassador from Tehran in protest against terrorist attacks planned by Iran in Copenhagen, targeting members of the Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahvaz, confirms that the Iranian regime's terrorism has become a threat to Europe, observers said.

They said that Denmark's accusations against Iran of plotting terrorist attacks on its soil opens the door again to questions about the terrorist attacks carried out previously in London, Paris and Spain.

Danish authorities announced suspecting a plot believed to be attempting to assassinate an Iranian opposition figure, Reuters reported.

Danish intelligence chief Finn Borch Andersen said that the leader of the Danish branch of the Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahvaz had been the target of the plot.

Anderson said in a news conference that Denmark is dealing with an Iranian intelligence agency planning an attack in Denmark, adding that such actions would never be accepted.

According to the Swedish security police, a Norwegian citizen who is believed to be in connection with the plot was arrested in Sweden earlier in October and was extradited to Denmark, Reuters reported. The citizen has an Iranian background.

Iran's revenge?

Late in September, Iran accused Denmark, the Netherlands and Britain of hosting a number of members of the terrorist group blamed by Tehran for the Ahvaz attack.

Gunmen opened fire at a military parade in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz on in September, killing around 25 people, half of them members of the Revolutionary Guards, according to state news agencies.

Revolutionary Guard’s acting commander Gen. Hossein Salami vowed revenge against the Ahvaz attack’s perpetrators and the “triangle of Saudi Arabia, Israel and the United States,” AP reported.

Denmark wants Iran sanctioned

Danish Foreign Minister Anders Samuelsen said on Tuesday that Denmark will push for fresh EU-wide sanctions against Iran, Reuters reported.

Samuelsen told a news conference that he believes Iran's regime is responsible for the attempted attack, saying that the country's ambassador in Tehran would be recalled for consultations.
