Babylon deputy calls to allocate fair fund to province in next budget

Deputy for the province of Babylon, Mansour al-Baiji, asserted on Wednesday that if the government doesn’t allocate fund to Babylon in the incoming budget, the province's parliament representative will stand against passing it.

“Babylon province and its people suffer from the deterioration of the services, health and education, so we hope the Prime Minister, Adil Abdul Mahdi allocates a fair budget to the province,” said al-Baiji, who is member of the State of Law Coalition

 

Leader at Fatah Alliance, Amer al-Fayez, stated on Wednesday that the delay of sending the budget of the next year to the Parliament to bring radical changes in the budget that set by the former government of Abadi.

"The government of Prime Minister Adil Abdul Mahdi is completely different from the government of Abadi in terms of perception of the next stage,” al-Fayez said in a press statement.

He added that "the budget of 2019 was set by the previous government and it will undergo radical change.
