Iraqi military announced Sunday receiving the third batch of South Korean T-50
fighter jets, aka Golden Punishment. The batch consists, according to the Iraqi
Air Force, of six jets.
The third batch of the South Korean jets comes as part of a $1.1 billion military agreement between the two countries. Iraq received the first batch in March 2017, while it received the second batch last May.
The deal amounted to $2 billion after Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) said it would provide a 20-year support for the jets.
