Saudi Arabia, Emirates support Yemeni teachers with $70m


Director of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) Abdullah Al-Rabiah announced that Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates will provide $70 million to support teachers' salaries in Yemen in cooperation with UNICEF.

This support will contribute in providing the salaries of 135,000 educators and support the economic and living conditions of the Yemeni people.


Earlier this month, the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC) provided an additional 1,000 food baskets as well as basic necessities to the poor families in the areas of Al Zahari, Al Barh and Hassi Salem in the Mocha. More than 7,000 people benefited form this program.
