Clashes erupt among Houthi militias in Sanaa

Houthis in Yemen
Clashes renewed on Monday among Houthis in Sanaa, leaving behind several militias dead.

Media reports said Houthi militias started to fight over shops to pillage to fund their military operations.

The war in Yemen was triggered when Houthis revolted against internationally-recognized President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi.

Saudi Arabia is leading an Arab military coalition that intervened in Yemen in March 2015 to reinstate the government of President Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi in Sanaa after the Houthi rebels forced him into exile.

The war has killed over 10,000 people and displaced nearly three million.
