The Saudi-led Arab Coalition called on Friday the United Nations and its organizations to condemn the crimes of the Houthi militias against humanity and the Yemeni people.

The Houthi attack that took place on Friday and targeted displaced Yemenis in Bani Jaber camp highlights Houthis’s attempts to prevent humanitarian aid from reaching the camp's displaced residents in Yemen's Hodeidah.

Bani Jaber camp was recently established by Saudi King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre.

The Coalition announced on Friday that a Houthi attack killed a woman and injured 12 others in Hodeidah, Saudi Press Agency reported.

Tuki Al Maliki, the coalition spokesperson stated that the attack was a disrespect of the principles of human rights and international humanitarian law, urging the United Nations to stand against the attack.

Saudi Arabia has been leading the war in Yemen since 2015 in support of Yemeni exiled government against the Iranian-back Houthi militias.
