Qatar's Ghufran tribe lodged a
formal complaint to FIFA against the Qatari regime, saying that the latter
seized some of the tribe's lands to build World Cup facilities.
Opposition site Qatarileaks affirmed that the Ghufran tribe had dealt a heavy blow to the 2022 Qatar World Cup, which it described as "stolen" after the tribe submitted a formal complaint to FIFA.
"The Doha gang stole our land after [it] displaced us by force and established the World Cup sports facilities on it, a crime that does not coincide with an event aimed at fomenting friendship among peoples," the tribe said in its complaint.
