US Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley censured Iranian President
Hassan Rouhani for blaming the United States of supporting an attack on the IRGC
military parade on Saturday.
The attack on the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' parade in Iran’s southwestern city of Ahvaz has reportedly caused the death of 29 people and the injury of over 60 others.
Haley said that Rouhani "needs to look at his own home base." She also blamed Rouhani of oppressing Iranian people by giving all money to the military. "The thing he's got to do is look in the mirror," Haley stated in an interview with CNN.
Following the terrorist attack that took place on Saturday, Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif held regional states and their "US masters" responsible for supporting the attack.
Zarif added that the foreign powers are responsible for recruiting, training, arming and paying for terrorists.
The Arab Struggle Movement for the Liberation of Ahvaz (ASMLA) has claimed responsibility for the attack, in a statement released by the group.
