The Iraqi Parliament has set the timetable and agenda of its 2nd session on Tuesday, a statement said.
Parliament members will address the formation of standing committees in the Parliament.
Moreover, the parliament has also invited several ministers to attend the legislature, namely ministers of health, housing, municipality, and water resources.
Three days after new Speaker Mohamed Halbousi was elected, he traveled to Basra to meet with local officials to discuss the city’s situation.
Deadly protests waved through Basra this summer to object lack of services and facilities, electricity and contaminated water, as well as high unemployment.
