Rudy Giuliani, lawyer for US President Donald Trump, said
the Tehran regime no longer controls the Iranian street.
Giuliani said in a press statement on Saturday that the situation in Iran is falling and there are increasing demands to change the regime, pointing out that the US sanctions are gradually bearing fruit.
Giuliani said Iran is doing the wrong thing by adopting a policy of violence.
Demonstrations against the clerical regime of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei have become widespread since last year, as inflation and poverty soars in Iran, which is expected to worsen with a set of new sanctions by the Trump administration to be introduced in November.
