Rasool announced on Saturday the launch of a large-scale military operation
with the participation of tribal regiments to inspect the desert provinces of
Salah al-Din, Anbar and Nineveh.
Rasool said in a statement that "units of the Jazeera operations leadership, associated units and the tribal regiments began a large operation to search the deserts between the provinces of Salah al-Din, Anbar and Nineveh towards the Iraqi-Syrian border."
He added that "the operation launched with seven axes," noting that "the air force and coalition aircraft support these units."
