International coalition warplanes have shelled sites belonging to the ISIS terrorist group in Al Baghuz area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) said Thursday.

Fierce clashes erupted on Wednesday between the international coalition forces and ISIS militants, leaving several people dead from both sides, the London-based observatory said.

Meanwhile, the SOHR said that cautious calm has been prevailing the areas of the Turkish-Russian truce, whereas a shelling launched by the Syrian forces on the countrysides of Aleppo and Hama was reported

About 7,000 people back home in the de-escalation zones in the countrysides of Idlib, Hama and Aleppo.

Separably, the Command of the Air Defense Brigade in Baniyas city on the Syrian coast called for five officers of the Air Defense in Baniyas countryside, the SOHR said.

This call came in order to investigate the case of shooting down a Russian plane near the Syrian coast by the regime’s air defenses in the Brigade 23 in Baniyas countryside.

The Brigade’s leadership kept two officers of the regime forces under investigation while it allowed the other three to leave.

The SOHR confirmed that the investigation took place before a Russian officer.
