South Korea funds humanitarian activities in Iraq with over $1 million

The South Korean Ambassador to Baghdad Song Woong Yeob said that his country continues to support the humanitarian activities in Iraq with a $1.2 million grant.
The South Korean government provided more than a million dollars to Iraq, to support the humanitarian activities in the country.

South Korean Ambassador to Iraq Song Woong Yeob said that his country continues to support the humanitarian activities in Iraq with a $1.2 million grant.

Yeob affirmed that the Republic of Korea is fully committed to supporting the humanitarian activities in Iraq, adding that his country will continue standing by Iraqis who need humanitarian aid.

Yeob said that his country believes that continuing support to such activities through the Iraqi government and international organizations, including the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, will help needy Iraqis to reconstruct their societies with the hope in a new future.
