A leader of al-Hikma Movement (National Wisdom Movement)
ruled out on Wednesday forming an emergency government, especially Iraqis are
about to form a regular one.
Habib al-Tarafi stated that the current government led by
Haidar al-Abadi is a ‘caretaker
government’
that will be dismissed right after the formation of the new
elected one.
“The winning parties are
about to form a new elected government, hence no need to form an emergency one,”
Tarafi said, pointing out that the current situation does not require an
emergency government.
Iraq has been going an unrest in past three weeks, due to the protests against the deteriorating services in Basra Governorate.
