Curfew imposed in Haditha after ISIS terror attack

The local authorities imposed on Tuesday a curfew at Haditha town in the west of the country following a suicide bombing that targeted a hospital, killing one civilian and wounding three others, according to an official military source.

“A bomb planted by ISIS targeted the civilians in front of Haditha public hospital which is located 150 km in Iraq's western Anbar province,” Army Colonel Walid al-Dulaimi told Anadolu Agency.

“Two civilians were killed and three others injured in the terror attack,” Dulaimi added.

ISIS presence has recently been purged from Iraq, by Iraqi forces and a U.S.-led military coalition, after the terrorist group overran much of the territory in northern and western Iraq in 2014.
