MP within State of Law Coalition, Aliaa Nassif called for the mobilization of all Iraqi institutions, including, ministries of industry, water resources, municipalities, housing and security services for the relief of Basra residents.
In a statement released on Thursday, Nassif said that Basra residents are not in need to condemn or denounce the government's inaction to meet their legitimate demands, which considered fundamental rights.

Basra wait to get water, electricity and basic services?" She asked.
"Those who are in senior executive positions should be ashamed of themselves after the severe discontent showed by Basra residents, noting that the coming years will remind us about those who ignored the sufferings of Iraqi residents and failed to meet their legitimate rights, she added.
