MP of Fatah Alliance Haneen al-Qado said on Wednesday that conditions set by the Kurdish delegation over the government formation cannot be applied.
Qado added that the Kurds' insistence on withdrawal of security forces from Kirkuk and disputed areas, in addition to increasing the Kurdistan Region's budget will give the Shiite parties an opportunity to join with each other.
"The Kurdish delegation's conditions over the government formation are inapplicable and unconstitutional," he said.
He described the Kurdish delegation's conditions, represented in the withdrawal of security forces from Kirkuk and disputed areas, arming the Peshmerga, giving them salaries and raising the KRG's share of the federal budget to 17% as well as allowing the KRG freedom to export oil in exchange for supporting the formation of the government as not possible and cannot be applied.
Qado added that such demands will urge the Shiite parties to ally with each other and thus form the coming government.
"Any party who will agree with these unfair conditions will lose its supporters, violate the constitution and expose the new government to collapse within six months as a maximum", Qado concluded.
