PUK declares boycott of Iraqi Parliament's sessions

Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) announced on Tuesday that it will boycott the Iraqi parliamentary session due to the dispute witnessed over the formation of the largest bloc.

MP within PUK, Arazo Mahmoud said in a press statement that the party's MPs have boycotted the parliamentary session, which was held on Tuesday.

Earlier on Tuesday, Iraqi parliament has resumed its first session, headed by eldest lawmaker Mohammed Ali Zaini.

Only 121 MPs have attended the session.
