MP: Kurds will not participate in Iraqi gov't until demands are fulfilled

MP Majid Shankali of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) said that the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the KDP's joint delegation held  intensive talks with other different political blocs to decide the Kurdish parties' final position to join the current political coalitions.


He added that such talks will continue until Monday morning ahead of the Parliament's inaugural session scheduled for tomorrow.


He said that the Kurdish delegation's talks is intensive and will continue until tomorrow morning, indicating that the delegation has a lot of powers.

"If our demands are not fulfilled, we will not participate in the government", he said.
