Kurdish Change Movement (Gorran) denied on Saturday the formation of a delegation to visit the Iraqi capital of Baghdad.
For his part, Amin Bakr, a leader at Gorran Movement, said we are currently considering forming an independent coalition away from the governing parties in the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).
He stated that negotiations with other political parties are ongoing in accordance with our programs.
Bakr added that news reported by some media outlets
about the joining of the Change Movement and other Kurdish parties with the Patriotic
Union of Kurdistan (PUK) and the Kurdistan Democratic
Party (KDP) is incorrect.
He pointed out that Gorran movement hasn't formed any delegations of its members to visit Baghdad in order to discuss the formation of political alliances and the coming government.
