An aide to Anbar police commandant Colonel Akram Abbas al-Fahdawi was killed Friday morning when a roadside bomb exploded near the 110-kilometer highway in Anbar province.
In a statement, Anbar police said the bomb was placed on the side of the international road at 120 kilometers west of Anbar exploded, targeting the convoy of Fahdawi.
The statement underlined that two other policemen were wounded in the explosion.
