Committee to Commemorate 2014 Camp Speicher Massacre said on Sunday the Iraqi judiciary upheld a court ruling to sentence 14 defendants to death over their involvement in the massacre.
In a statement, head of the committee Moin Kadhmi urged the need to carry out the sentence as soon as possible.
On June 12, 2014, ISIS killed more than 1,700 students and members of the camp in Salahuddin province.
Iraqi cities are bearing the brunt of ISIS terror. Explosions, suicide bombings and assassinations are a commonplace. Many civilians and police and army personnel die in the aftermath of this violence.
