Iraqi army enters Sinjar positions previously held by Iran-allied IMIS



Iraqi army has entered positions that were occupied by the Iran-allied IMIS Militias in Sinjar district, northwest of Mosul, well-informed sources said Saturday. 

In a press statement, the security source said, a "regiment of the 15th Division of the Iraqi army has entered Sinjar, northwest of Mosul, that were previously occupied by the IMIS terrorists. 

In June, Sinjar witnessed sharp disagreements between IMIS terrorists and the Yezidi forces.
