Iraq's Arab tribes seek Iran-allied IMIS withdrawal from Nineveh Plain

Arab Tribes in Iraq announced Saturday that they reject the presence of Iran-allied IMIS Militias in Iraq, calling for the return of the Peshmerga forces to Kirkuk and all disputed areas.

Muzahim al-Huwait, a spokesman for the Arab tribes, said that the IMIS must be withdrawn from the Nineveh Plain and held accountable for the crimes they committed against civilians.

He pointed out that the tribes has coordinated the withdrawal of IMIS' 30 Brigade from the Nineveh Plain with the US-led coalition.
