The Moroccan government has decided on Saturday to suspend all banking transfers with Iran, announcing the halt of Iranian imports, including carpets and raw materials to Morocco.
Such a step
comes following the US’ sanctions imposed against Tehran.
Local Moroccan newspapers revealed that Morocco's Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned the Moroccan Banking Association (GPBM) of the outcomes of dealing with Iranian assets and investments.
