Change Movement has declared its rejection to the results of the manual counting, adding it will file a lawsuit with the supreme federal court.
Zamanku Galal, the movement's official in charge of the elections' affairs, said the results of the elections, announced by the High Electoral Commission (HEC), because they are different from the results that were supposedly to come out after the recounting of the ballot boxes.
"The movement will file a lawsuit with the supreme federal court against the results, a there are consultations with the Islamic Group and Islamic Union in this respect," he added.
This comes as the High Electoral Commission (HEC) had declared the results of the manual counting and sorting of the ballot boxes against which challenges were filed. Elections were held on May 12. And the Sadrist Movement took the lead after capturing 54 seats.
