Dozens of Iranian security personnel have been wounded as violent clashes erupted during a soccer match in Ahvaz region's Kuzestan Province, sources said Thursday.
The clashes occurred at the Ghadir Stadium which has a capacity of 38,960 spectators.
The injured policemen, some of them in a serious condition, have been taken to hospital.
Arab people in Ahvaz always stage protests against the security forces of the Mullah's regime.
Over the past few weeks, Iran has been hit by a series of violent protests against the clerical rule's corruption and tyranny.
Thousands of protesters have bee arrested. Dozens of them were tortured to death.
