Senior National Wisdom Movement (NWM) Leader Habib Al-Tarafy revealed that political blocs are holding secret talks to form the largest bloc in Parliament, before the final results of the manual counting and sorting of parliamentary elections' votes are announced.
Tarafy underlined that the preliminary results of the manual counting of votes are identical to the results which were previously announced by the High Electoral Commission (HEC).
He explained that the political blocs are holding talks in secret as a result of the ongoing protests in central and southern provinces.
In addition, he underscored that the talks have not yet led to an understanding between the political blocs on the formation of the largest bloc in parliament, next government or prime minister.
The Parliamentary elections was marked by record low turnout. It was the first since Iraq declared victory over the ISIS group and the fourth since the 2003 US-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein.
