Security forces kill 12 ISIS terrorists in Salahuddin

Iraqi security forces

Salahuddin Police Chief Major General Kandil al-Jubouri said that Iraqi security forces, supported by Saraya al-Salam brigades, have killed 12 ISIS terrorists during a security operation in the province on Thursday night.

Jabouri added that the military commander of the so-called Wilayat Baghdad, Abu Tiba al-Baghdadi was killed during the operation.

He added pointed out that citizens collaborating with the security services have gave information about the location of the terrorists, noting that this action proves that Iraqis reject terrorism.
Although Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced full liberation of Iraqi lands and the end of war against ISIS in December 2017, Iraqi cities are witnessing acts of violence as terrorist group's sleeper cells continue to launch attacks targeting civilians and security forces.
