Head of PUK's electoral list in KRG Parliamentary elections revealed

Qubad Talabani, son of former Iraqi President Jalal Talabanio and deputy prime minister of the Kurdi

Latif Nerweyi, spokesman of the Central Council of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) uncovered on Sunday that Qubad Talabani has been selected to head the union's electoral list in the upcoming parliamentary elections in Kurdistan Region.

In a statement to Al-Ghad Press, Nerweyi  said that the PUK's Central Council has selected Qubad Talabani, son of former Iraqi President Jalal Talabani and deputy prime minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government to head the union's electoral list.

The Parliamentary elections in the Kurdistan Region is scheduled to be held on September 30.

Nerweyi  added that the PUK has already finished the electoral list, which was referred today Sunday to the the preparation of the list and presented today to the he Kurdistan Independent High Election and Referendum Commission (IHERC)

The PUK has previously chosen Arslan Bayes to head the electoral list, but the latter apologized due to his bad health conditions.
