to head the union's electoral list in the upcoming parliamentary elections in
In a statement to Al-Ghad Press, Nerweyi said that the PUK's Central Council has selected Qubad Talabani, son of former Iraqi President Jalal Talabani and deputy prime minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government to head the union's electoral list.
The Parliamentary elections in the Kurdistan Region is scheduled to be held on September 30.
Nerweyi added that
the PUK has already finished the electoral list, which was referred today

Kurdistan Independent High Election and Referendum Commission (IHERC)
The PUK has previously chosen Arslan Bayes to head the electoral list, but the latter apologized due to his bad health conditions.
