Iraq's Federal Police kill ISIS terrorist in Kirkuk

Security source said on Sunday that Iraqi Federal Police killed an ISIS terrorist south of Kirkuk province.

The source, who asked to remain anonymous, added that the terrorist tried to launch an attack targeting a security checkpoint in Kirkuk's Daquq town, pointing out that the attack was foiled by the Federal Police.

Although Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi announced full liberation of Iraqi lands and the end of war against ISIS in December 2017, Iraqi cities are witnessing acts of violence as terrorist group's sleeper cells continue to launch attacks targeting civilians and security forces.
