Nineveh former MP Haneen al-Qaddo confirmed that the recent demonstrations proved the current and previous governments' failure in maintaining security and upgrading services in Iraq.
In a press statement released on Tuesday, al-Qaddo said that the current protests in Iraq constitute a great pressure on all political leaders, especially the executive authority and heads of parties, to review their performance during the past fifteen years.
He stated that the successive governments,
since the fall of the former regime till now, have faced many security
challenges and external interferences in Iraq's internal affairs, but this
doesn't justify their failure in the files of security and services.
