9 ISIS tunnels destroyed in Nineveh

Nine ISIS tunnels have been discovered in Nineveh, according to spokesman for security media center Brigadier Yehia Rasul.
He said that the Iraqi forces have seized 12 explosive devices and nine tunnels.
The spokesman noted one of the tunnels was booby-trapped.
"The forces also discovered 42 explosive charges and 15 missiles in Al-Salam village. They were all detonated without reporting losses," he went on to say.
ISIS has occupied vast areas from Iraq and Syria in 2014. Three years later, the terror group was expelled after massive military operations in partnership with the US-led coalition.
But remnants of the terror group are still planning a comeback. They are aided by local officials and pro-Iran militias.
