Victory alliance said Monday that it held successful meetings of preparatory committee tasked with preparing the meeting of leaders of winning blocs in the Parliamentary elections.
In a press release, Spokesman for Victory Alliance led by Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al Abadi, Hussein Al Adly said that representatives of 11 electoral entities attended the meetings and formed a preparatory committee to decide the place, time and date of the meeting of leaders of winning blocs.
Adly explained that it was agreed to hold the meeting after concluding the paper of principles by the preparatory committee.
He underlined that the meeting would discuss the roadmap of the coming period, including forming the next government.
The Parliamentary elections was marked by record low turnout. It was the first since Iraq declared victory over the ISIS group and the fourth since the 2003 US-led invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein.
