Scientists discover translucent spider living in a cave in Indiana

A scientist from the University of Indianapolis crawled through a wet, muddy cave to discover a new species of spider, Daily Mail reported.

Named Islandiana lewisi, it is the fifteenth species in its genus and the first one discovered in over 30 years.

The 'sheet weavers' are just two millimeters long and likely don't pose a threat to humans - but up close, they have quite the daunting appearance.
