Iraqi counter terrorism agency said 15 ISIS terrorists were killed in an air strike carried out by the Iraqi warplanes in Hawija district, Kirkuk province.
In a statement, the agency explained that under the directions of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, the Iraqi air force's warplanes targeted ISIS hideout in Wadi Zaytoun in the town of Riyadh.
Iraqi cities are bearing the brunt of ISIS terror. Explosions, suicide bombings and assassinations are a commonplace. Many civilians and police and army personnel die in the aftermath of this violence.
