Thousands of Iranians have expressed their condemnation of the Mullah's regime's hostility towards athletes.
The angry protesters said the vilayat-e-faqih regime allocates the country’s whole budget to exporting fundamentalism and terrorism instead of funding and supports sports.
This coincided with the World Cup 2018 tournament in which Iran is participating.
They added that the oppressing security forces had been involved in executing dozens of sportsmen including Habib Khabiri, Iran national football team’s captain in 1979.
Hundreds of athletes including Aziz Asli, Iran’s goalkeeper during the 1960s and 1970s and heavyweight wrestler Aziz Kiani were forced to live abroad.
