Yemeni army regained control of four strategic positions related to Iran-allied Houthi militia in Hudaydah province, sources who spoke to The Baghdad Post said on Friday.
The sources added that these sites were considered to be the defensive positions of Houthis in Hudaydah during the past two days, pointing out that these sites aimed to obstruct the advancement of the Yemeni forces in the province.
In Hajjah, the Yemeni forces, supported by the Arab coalition, have continued their advance against Houthis, taking control over a number of the province's areas.
Houthis are trained and funded by Iran to overthrow the internationally-recognized government of Abdrabbuh Mansur Hadi.
In 2015, an Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia was formed to oust the Shia militants from Yemen.
