Four Kurdish parties announced Sunday their rejection to the Iraqi parliamentary elections, for the violations committed during the polling which leads to a rigged results.
In a joint statement, four Kurdish parties, including Gorran Movement (Movement for Change), Democracy and Justice Coalition, Kurdistan Islamic Group and Kurdistan Islamic Union said they disown the parliamentary elections that took place on Saturday, demanding to repeat the whole process in Kurdistan and the disputed areas.
Legislative elections in Iraq started on May 12th. The integrity of this elections is questionable. Clerics and politicians say fraud will happen due to the control of militias over the polling centers.
