Arab Parliament

Arab Parliament, headed by Mishaal bin Fahm Al-Salami, announced on Saturday that it will hold its next session at the Moroccan House of Councillors on Wednesday.

According to a statement issue by the Arab Parliament, this decision aims to the Parliament’s full solidarity with Morocco for all measures it takes to strengthen its sovereignty, territorial integrity, security and stability.

Last week, Morocco has severed diplomatic ties with Iran over Tehran’s support for the Polisario Front, a Western Sahara independence movement.

Morocco’s Foreign Minister, Nasser Bourita accused Iran and its Lebanese Shi’ite ally, Hezbollah, of training and arming Polisario fighters via the Iranian embassy in Algeria.
