Sadr: Low turnout in coming elections means corrupt will seize power

Chief of the Sadrist Movement Moqtada al-Sadr on Monday said that his insistence to hold the million-man march for reform is aimed to fight corruption and corrupt.
He said he pins his hope on the participation of the Iraqis in the coming elections.
On selling the electoral tickets, Sadr said that he is aware of such irregularities, noting such violations must be dealt with firmly.
"Iraq will be handed over to the corrupt politicians in case the Iraqis do not go to polls in bulk numbers," he noted.
