Unidentified warplanes have struck positions of the Assad regime and allied Lebanese Hezbollah militias in western Homs, sources revealed Saturday.
This comes after warplanes targeted Iranian bases in southern Aleppo, leaving dozens of casualties including Iranian officers.
Hundreds of Iranian militias are operating alongside the Assad regime since the outbreak of the 2011 uprising, killing thousands and forcing millions out of their homes.
This developments come after the Assad regime chemical attack against the last rebel-held town of Douma that killed 70, mostly women and children. The attack also injured more than 1000 civilians.
In retaliation for the chemical attack, a US-led military strike on Saturday targeted the Assad regime positions.
