ISIS terror group claimed responsibility for Tuesday's attack that took place south of Kirkuk, leaving 21 killed and injured.
The attack targeted two families on Daquq-Tuz Khurmatu road.
In late December, Iraqi PM Haider Abadi declared full liberation of Iraq from ISIS terrorists. But the terror group's sleeper cells still carry out sporadic attacks, endangering the stability of the country.
A monthly report by the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) said a total of 91 Iraqi civilians were killed and 208 others injured in acts of terrorism, violence and armed conflict in February.
